1. Hotel attendant knows who I am, where I'm from before I even check in. I guess I went to school with her boyfriend, but I never met her.
2. "Zonk Your Neighbor" night at the American Legion. I'm not exactly sure what that means...I'm not sure I want to know.
3. Run into people you know at Wal-Mart. I've mentioned this before, but this time it's a little different. The Wal-Mart I was at was approximately 60 miles away (Mt. Vernon, IL). I saw and talked to one of the guys I played High School football with, saw my cousins' wife and my other cousin's daughter.
4. The Good Mall: The reason we went to Mt. Vernon is to go to the mall. We pulled up and got out of the car when I overheard this conversation:
Ashlynn: Where are we?
Rachel: The mall.
Ashlynn: Yeah right! Where are we?
Rachel: We are at the mall.
Ashlynn: Malls have more than one floor!

Spoiled kid...in my day all we had was Jamestown and Northwest Plaza was OPEN AIR...neither ever has nor ever will have a seond floor, and soon neither will even be a mall, I'd imagine.
So...long-story-short...Ashlynn wins. :)
At least those malls had more than one hallway.
Good point. Sounds like you've got the same malls there that we had in Goobertown, Arkansas.
Your daughter is a city girl.
